Before his time at the Pentagon, Mr. Bromelkamp served as a congressional staffer on Capitol Hill for over seven years. From 1997 to 2000, he worked for Congressman Chet Edwards as a Senior Legislative Assistant and Associate Committee Staffer for the Subcommittee on Military Construction Appropriations.  During his time with Congressman Edwards, Mr. Bromelkamp gained valuable experience working for a member of the House Committee on Appropriations, particularly in the areas of defense, military construction, energy and water, and VA-HUD appropriations. He has a keen understanding of the congressional appropriations and authorization processes.

Mr. Bromelkamp started his career serving as a congressional staffer for Congressman David Minge.  There he served as a Senior Legislative Assistant and an Associate Budget Committee Staffer and was responsible for tracking a diverse range of legislative issues including defense, international affairs, small business, banking, transportation, veterans, and the environment.
